I have been eyeing this palette for a while and I finally decided to get it on one of those unexpected visits to the drugstore. The palette is called LA Palette/Lip and its by Loreal. There are three palettes that you can choose from; the Pink Palette, the Plum Palette and Nude Palette. I decided to purchase the Nude palette, because you can never have enough nude lipsticks. This beauty consist of eight nude shades; four cream shades, three matte shades and one highlight shade. It also includes a lip brush.
Packaging and Price
The Loreal Lip palette retails for $16.99. If we divide this by the number of lipstick shades that this palette is offering it will be $2.12 for each shade, which is not bad considering that a Loreal lipstick can retail for around $8. The packaging is gold and black plastic and its thin enough to take with you on your bag or to travel. The only downside that this packing has it’s that it does not include a mirror and I’m not a fan of the brush that it comes with. If you are not picky with your brushes, this lip brush will be just fine, but I like a brush that I can have more control when I’m applying it. I recommend the Kiko Lip Brush in #80.

Formula and Pigmentation
These lipsticks are buttery and feel comfortable on the lips. All the shades are stunning the only shade that I didn’t like and found unnecessary in the palette was the highlight. For me this shade has too much glitter on it. Beside that the rest of the shades are stunning. Also, the matte shades are not completely matte, but that was not a problem for me. Here is a picture of all the shades that this palette includes.
My favorites: Shades 3, 5 and 7
Formula and pigmentation: 4.5/5
These didn’t last as long as I would have want them to. I find that with the Colourpop Lip primer they go on even more beautiful and last longer. So I recommend using some sort of lip primer if you want the shades to last.
Overall I really enjoyed this palette. I like almost all the shades on this palette (which is a hard thing to find) the only shade that I don’t like it’s the highlight shade. Besides that I will definitely be incorporating this palette on my everyday makeup more often. If you are thinking of getting this palette I recommend you to pick up a Colourpop Lip Primer.
